• First offshore "race" was held on the last day of a Sunsail flotilla holiday in 1991, Corsica. We won...

• First serious offshore race was the Gotland Runt [Baltic] 1995 on a 37' IMS cruiser (600 miles or thereabouts)

• Owner of Sigma 36 1997-1999

• Laser SB3 2004 - 2006

• Owner of Prima 38 1999 - 2007

• Owner of J/80 2007 to date

• Numerous offshore races as skipper including the '99,'01 and '05 Fastnet races

• Numerous inshore races including Cowes '98 onwards, Cork 2000, 2002 and 2006

• Commodores' cup 2000 ("Europe" team)

• Chairman Prima class association (2006-2007 and 2002-2004)

• RYA National Judge

Personal info...

I am 40-ish and have worked as an Architect and Programme manager for Microsoft, Accenture, PwC and Natwest for over twenty years. Now I do a similar thing for Capita Group. That is my son on the right below.

I am married to Alison (yes belly dancing is her hobby...) :-

In 2005 we moved from West Hampstead in London...to Woolston in Southampton, so no excuses any more for not going sailing ;-)
