J/80 results so far

2007:

RTI - a respectable 22nd out of 41 after having spent some considerable time aground off Ryde...enough said...

Royal Southern July regatta - 1st overall against limited opposition

Cowes week - 3rd J/80 out of 15 and 5th overall out of 25 in SBR handicap class

Royal Southern September regatta - 4th overall and therefore winner of the Summer Sportsboat series

Winter series - 6th overall. Too many crew changes ?

2008:

Spring series - 6th overall again. Downwind boat speed not so great, and mark roundings dodgy at times, but starts and upwind speed good - often in top 3 to first windward mark. A couple of very dubious protest committee conclusions didn't help...

Royal Southern May regatta - Starting to get things together, very poor starting but excellent upwind and downwind speed for a change. Crew work and hence roundings looking very much better

RTI - Scratch crew, big waves and high speeds, 8th out of 24 entries

Royal Southern July regatta - 1st overall, even with Noah (age 7) as 4th man on Sunday
